4/23 - Favorites of the Week: Lillet, 90’s Kate Moss, French Yogurt and more…

This week’s most worn item - TNA Butter 5” shorts. I’m sure by now you’ve heard the tale, but once more won’t hurt. I saw a girl wearing these in my Corepower Yoga Sculpt class and was so impressed with the fit that I ordered a pair on the spot. They did not disappoint. I wear them with this sports bra and a bolero.
La Fermière Yogurt in the flavors Rose or Mango Passion Fruit - you can stick them in the freezer for 30 mins if you want something really refreshing.
I was curious but skeptical when I bought these Crest Whitestrips that come with an LED light. The package promises 30 levels whiter - that cannot be true, right? I got them around Christmas and kind of forgot about them. I started using the strips last week and WOW. I usually just brush with hydrogen peroxide to whiten my teeth, but these are well worth it.
My longest standing hobby is hyper-fixating on a vintage piece and then scouring the internet to find it. This week’s brand is Voyage, the London-based 90’s it-girl brand loved by Kate Moss. That description alone just sounds cool. I seem to have the best luck on eBay, where I’ve found gems like this patchwork skirt, a velvet burnout cardigan, and an insane pink skirt that looks like something Carrie Bradshaw would wear. (Note: You can also find pieces by searching “Voyage Passion”)
Voyage find on eBay up for grabs, what I’m listening to, fresh bottle, Charlie’s spritz, the best chapstick basking in the sun Was anyone else feeling nostalgic this week? I was, and because of that, I wanted to revisit one of my favorite books. So, I downloaded the audio book of Truth and Beauty by Ann Patchett. This memoir so perfectly captures both the depth and intensity of female friendship — and what it means to be beautiful. I know the cover and title are a little corny but just trust me!
Charlie’s Lillet Spritz recipe — which he customized to accommodate my distaste for gin and love of lemon — is insanely drinkable. Its all I’ve been craving lately.
Recipe:
2 oz Lillet Blanc
1 oz gin (I promise you can’t really taste it)
1 oz simple syrup
Shake
Pour over ice and top with club soda
My best Amazon find of late are these multipack Palmers Coco Butter Swivel Sticks. They’re my favorite chapstick (you can actually taste the coco butter) and because of their size, you can use them anywhere you need moisture in a pinch.
I bought this hat off of an Instagram ad, and I’ve been wearing it all week. The off-white + green color combo is so chic!
They aren’t new, but I’m extra-in-love with my Axel Marathon sneakers this week.
Every Monday morning, without fail, I’m listening to my favorite Succession recap pod. I crave media with my media.
